As you can see our technical requirements are not extensive. We bring our own stands.
Typically the students sit on the floor or on benches. They can be quite close to the performers but we need enough space for the pit of doom and for the tasks to be carried out. A 10 ft space seems to work ok.
When you sign up with the PGSO (call 562-0800) for a performance at your school you get more than just a show.
Dear Educator,
Thank you for your love of music and welcome to our website.
This website is a supplement to our Study Guide on composer Simon Cole's orchestral work One song Universus, a northern tale. This guide has been prepared for conductor Leslie Dala and the Prince George Symphony’s presentation of this work during the 2008 tour and school concert series.
This kit is available free of charge to all participating schools. It is available on disk from the PGSO and as a PDF file which you can downloade from the website here.
Included in this kit you will find:
1. Resource booklet.
2. Student activity sheets
3. Complimentary CD
which can also be downloaded from this website here( right click and"save as")
