The main brass instrument used in a Northern Tale is the French Horn there is also a trombone. The french horn is made of a tube of brass with a bell on one end that is curled around in a circle. If they were not made this way they would be very long and awkward to play. French horn players place one hand inside the bell to adjust the sound |
Trumpets and French Horns have small mouthpieces and trombones and tubas have large mouthpieces.
